Built by practitioners.
Grounded in experience.
Every person connected to PYvot has lived the realities we train for — inside demanding organisations, across cultures, and through genuine human complexity.
Poh Yee's career has taken two distinct — and deeply connected — paths. She spent 13 years as a Production Geologist with Shell Malaysia, leading cross-cultural teams, managing multi-million dollar deepwater projects, and navigating the full complexity of one of the world's most demanding corporate environments. It was there, watching brilliant people struggle not with their work but with each other, that she made her own deliberate pivot. In geology, a pivot point is where pressure and structure meet to shift the earth. For Poh Yee, that moment came from within. She returned to study, earning a Master of Counselling from HELP University and becoming a licensed counsellor accredited by the Malaysian Board of Counselors — and PYvot was born from everything those two worlds taught her. Today, she sits at a rare intersection: someone who has lived the corporate world from the inside, and is formally trained to understand what drives people within it. Her work is grounded in multiple evidence-based systemic and behavioural frameworks — drawing on approaches including Solution Focused methodology — deliberately chosen and integrated to deliver change that is not just immediate, but lasting. Delivered across three languages, and shaped by the conviction that better leaders build better lives — at work and beyond.

Rachael is a licensed counsellor whose path to the facilitation room has been anything but conventional — and that is precisely what makes her exceptional in it. With a background spanning clinical research in Australia, counselling practice across leading mental health organisations in Malaysia, and over a decade of community leadership and human formation work, she brings both scientific rigour and deep human attentiveness to every space she enters. She has worked alongside individuals and groups at Dignity for Children Foundation and Andolfi Family Therapy Centre, and has spent years mentoring young leaders across diverse communities — locally and internationally. At PYvot, Rachael creates learning environments where people feel seen, safe, and genuinely ready to grow.
